The Guide: Mama Martha
Mama Martha hails from Mocoa, Putumayo, and now resides in La Gran Via, a few hours outside Bogota. She has spent more than 50 years dedicating herself to the art and practice of Yagé, trained by various members of her family. Combining her extensive experience as a western-medicine trained nurse and traditional Inga curandera, Mama Martha has become a beacon of wisdom, a bridge between worlds - the old and the new, the indigenous and the modern, the mind and the heart. She has made it her life mission to bring the transformative powers of Yagé to the world.
The Journey

December 11th
Arrival in Bogota. Your journey begins upon arrival at Bogota's international airport, where you'll be met by your dedicated guide, Daniel Rios. A comfortable hotel shuttle awaits to whisk you away to your lodging for the night. This is your time to settle in, rest, and prepare yourself for the profound journey that awaits. Daniel will brief the group about the upcoming journey, allowing for questions, sharing and creating a cohesive group energy even before setting foot in the jungle.

Depart for the retreat center. Connect with the land and the group during an opening circle to set intentions for the journey.

December 13th-16th
Immerse yourself in the transformative powers of four Yagé ceremonies, gently guided by Mama Martha and her family. Each day will commence with an 8 am ceremony, held in a place akin to the Garden of Eden.
This sacred ceremonial space, lovingly crafted by Mama Martha over the past 25 years, offers an environment like no other for your Yagé experience. Surrounded by lush gardens, blooming with native flora, it invites you to connect deeply with the spirit of the land.
As you participate in these ancient rituals, you'll find yourself enveloped in the powerful energies of the Colombian jungle. Return to Bogota, carrying with you the learnings, experiences, and transformation of the past few days. We encourage participants to book flights out of Bogota on December 18th.
